A .redshift is an increase in the wavelength of electromagnetic radiation with a corresponding decrease in frequency and photon energy (such as light). A negative redshift, or blueshift, is defined as a decrease in wavelength with a simultaneous increase in frequency and energy. The terms are taken from the colors red and blue, which are the visible light spectrum's extremes.
B. The formation of hydrogen and helium, as well as other trace constituents, is known as "big bang nucleosynthesis." According to Schramm's estimates, helium makes up about 25% of the mass, hydrogen makes up about 73 percent, and the rest of the elements make up less than 2%
C. The cosmic microwave background (CMB) is believed to be residual radiation from the Big Bang, or the beginning of the universe. According to one theory, when the universe was formed, it experienced rapid inflation and expansion. The heat left over from the Big Bang is reflected by the CMB
